Each buddy is a non-fungible token and digital representation of character in NEXUS world. They are a collectible unit with attributes and properties.

NEXUS land is a digital representation of real estate in the virtual world that is mapped according to the real world. Each land is represented by a hexagon.

NEXUS LAND 

Users can build structures on their land in NEXUS. These structures are digital representations of property in the virtual world. A NEXUS structure has its own set of characteristics and can be purchased from the marketplace.

STRUCTURES

There will be campaigns and activities in NEXUS where, for example, NEXUS characters also known as Buddies will be planted at a shopping mall which users may hunt through the augmented reality lens.

Oh Teck Wee is Affyn's Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the company's financial strategy and operations to support its continued growth and transformation. Before joining Affyn, he served as an Associate Director in the Risk Consulting department of KPMG, one of the Big Four accounting firms. He specialized in providing accounting advisory to multinational corporations, listed companies, and private enterprises, focusing primarily on the financial and technology sectors. He was also involved in several high-profile IPOs and provided carve-out consulting for clients in Southeast Asia. His expertise coupled with Affyn’s innovative capabilities brings an irresistible proposition for a sustainable metaverse.

Oh Teck Wee

Steve Taylor, Affyn's Chief Product Officer, is responsible for defining and executing Affyn's product strategy. He brings over two decades of experience in digital entertainment, both with game industry heavyweights (Electronic Arts, Unity Technologies) and with pioneering start-ups in the mobile and ad-tech space. His career spanned engineering, product delivery, business development, marketing and creative direction, ultimately leading him into product management. Steve is passionate about building products that solve hard problems, bring value to the business, and delight users.

Steve Taylor

As Affyn's Chief Marketing Officer, Tina Chu leads marketing and brand strategy for Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 audiences, spearheading global market expansion for mass adoption. With almost two decades of experience in storytelling, digital marketing, and product operations, Tina has built global growth marketing associations from the ground up. Prior to Affyn, Tina held senior leadership roles at Cabital, Expedia, Tencent and Klook.

Tina Chu

Ksther Lim, Affyn’s Chief People Officer, leads Affyn’s growth and transformation through the lens of people. Before joining Affyn, she was Vice President Human Resources in ComfortDelGro, a global conglomerate as well as one of the largest land transport companies in the world. Prior to that, she set up and headed the Young Talent Office in GovTech Singapore, one of the top 10 employers with IT graduates. Her two decades of experience give her a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities with Affyn, and she will focus on building and putting in place people practices and solutions that work for the company and Team Affyn.

Ksther Lim

Dennis Wan, Affyn's Chief Development Officer, is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the company. He oversees Affyn’s overall growth and expansion, ensuring stability over long-term change and development. Dennis is a veteran senior producer and blockchain advocate known for his nearly two decades of experience in games for consoles and mobile platforms. He has worked at Konami, Bushiroad, and Gumi, where he spearheaded the development of the company’s games collaboratively with Nintendo, Square-Enix, and Disney. His key portfolio includes Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, Big Hero 6: Bot Fight, and Vanguard ZERO.

Dennis Wan

As Affyn’s Chief Information and Security Officer, David Seow ushers the next digital transformation of Affyn’s IT operations and security. Having a background in handling homeland security projects as a Security Consultant, David Seow has the experience safeguarding projects up to the compliance levels required for national security. He has both defensive and offensive experience in Cybersecurity, as he was also a former team lead of penetration testers in a homeland security organization and guests at NUS lectures on topics related to Penetration Testing (specifically - CS4238, Computer Security Practice). His strengths in cybersecurity strategy, information security, and IT operations will strengthen the backbone infrastructure upon which Affyn’s vision is built, bringing significant value to the organization.

David Seow

As Creative Director for Affyn, Cedric Fiorentino is responsible for product ideation and development with a focus on creative concepts, innovation, and experience standards. He comes in with the goal of bridging the gap between Affyn’s mission and the artistic vision of the products. He started his career at Epic Games, where he worked over a decade. He also worked with well-known companies such as  Webzen, Arkane Studios, Ubisoft, LucasArts, Bandai Namco, Virtuos, and Netease, and major franchises such as Tomb Raider, Star Wars, Ghost Recon, and Unreal. With more than 25 years of experience under his belt and 20+ AAA games, Cedric Fiorentino is all about creating experiences that players find memorable and impactful for years to come.

Over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, Allex has paved his career path from Animation production towards video game development, shipping numerous titles for consumer entertainment. His mission in Affyn is to provide artistic leadership and lead the team to drive the project's overall vision and contribute to the art pipeline definition and develop milestones for the art team in Affyn.

Tammie Chew is Affyn's Director of Branding and Public Relations. She oversees the direction and development of community management and social media. She also leads a team focused on content, community initiatives, and social media strategy. Before joining Affyn, with over a decade of experience in the media industry, she offered consultancy services to SMEs and MNCs on their marketing strategies to optimize their social media presence. Tammie is passionate about maintaining a positive online voice to develop an intimate relationship with the online community with a mission to nurture, uplevel, and retain Affyn's vision.

As Affyn's Director of Operations, Zac Chen oversees the company's day-to-day activities, ensuring that the company is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. His diverse experience in esports, gaming, and cryptocurrency give him a unique viewpoint that helps him solve problems from all angles. A gaming enthusiast, Zac was a prominent figure during Singapore’s early e-sports scene and represented both Singapore and South-East Asia at a national and regional level. Since discovering his passion for blockchain and crypto in 2017, he has been involved in community management for several projects.

Calvin Tee, Affyn's Game Director, oversees and leads his team of game developers in a mission to create experiences that bring people closer together. Calvin has been experimenting with game creation since 2002. He was deeply involved in the creation of games since his formative years. He won 1st place out of 800 entries in the RPG category of the Indie Game Maker Contest in 2014. With 10 years of experience studying game design and even longer experimenting with raw game ideas, he brings knowledge in understanding the player's mind to the table.

Calvin Tee

Lucaz Lee has over a decade of experience leading international teams to growth and success, including helping to launch a start-up that was acquired by a NASDAQ-listed firm. He was also in the core leadership team that helped a US-based company launch and penetrate the Asian market, where it went from USD$91m to USD$926.6m in annual revenue within 4 years. Since 2016, Lucaz has been exposed to blockchain and cryptocurrency and has been actively involved in the space. Under his leadership, Affyn successfully grew a large web 3.0 community of more than 100,000, secured over USD$20 million in funding within a short period of four months and was named one of the 40 Most Notable Blockchain Leaders by Forbes in 2022.

James Lee has extensive experience in sales and marketing in the lifestyle industry over the past 14 years. He has built businesses from a few hundred thousand dollars in revenue to over a few hundred million dollars in sales worldwide, with more than a million consumers globally. James has also spoken on large international stages with more than 150,000 audiences in total and published a book titled “Flip Your Switch To Be Rich” in 2014. He was awarded the founder’s award in two different companies that he represented in 2012 and 2019.

Raymond is the recipient of multiple awards for entrepreneurship, both locally and internationally, from private and government bodies. He is the partner for FXtrading.com/Gleneagle Securities Pte Ltd for the Singapore market and also the Chief Business Advisor for Steigen Capital Market that represents a group of of companies incorporated in various reputable jurisdictions to support global business operations and to serve client bases worldwide. Both companies are regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
